As a Data Analyst (m/f/d) in the "Analytics & AI" team, you will play a key role in designing and developing the necessary analysis methods and approaches to make Uhlmann successful with data-driven solutions. Your goal is to gain insights from data in order to support business decisions. Through your work, you will make a significant contribution to the use of Analytics & AI at Uhlmann and thus to the competitiveness of our company.

  • Creating the further prerequisites for data-driven solutions, in particular analysing the underlying customer problems (internal and external) and creating a suitable solution
  • Realisation of use cases, understanding of the issues and corresponding data, solution development, validation and support in deploying the solution
  • Interpreting data, recognising patterns and trends, developing descriptive statistics, reports and dashboards and testing them statistically
  • Identifying new opportunities for process improvement, increasing efficiency, automation and deriving recommendations for action, validating them and supporting their implementation
  • Internal and external collaboration to determine the requirements of a scalable data architecture and to implement use cases

Unbox your assets - your profil

  • Degree in mathematics, economics, industrial engineering, computer science or a related field
  • Proven experience as a data analyst, especially in data analysis, visualisation and reporting, process analysis and automation as well as workflow automation
  • Very good programming skills in Python or similar language, very good knowledge of KNIME, PyTorch or a similar analytics framework
  • Knowledge of setting up analyses in cloud platforms
  • Business Knowledge and Knowledge of mechanical engineering is an advantage
  • Ability to analyse complex issues and develop efficient, data-based solutions and communicate these to both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Team orientiation and experience with agile working and development methods
  • Very good German or English language skills
  • High quality awareness, reliability and initiative
